horn sounding when locking

Can anyone explain to me why the horn sounds when I lock the doors

Something is open.

Try physically opening and closing all the doors, plus the bonnet and boot.

Mine did this for a while and it was the bonnet catch.

New prop, new clutch TVLR,Beanie Grille,Black & Silver Badges
All Filters, oil change,clock on dash,4x4 info,RLD Protector,silicone hoses
Front and Rear TRW low Dust dtec V8 brake upgrade,new oil sump

Thanks guys .
Ihad sorted the bonnet catch this morning after it failed to close
. Now it is telling me the bonnet is still open , looks like i need a new sensor, cheers , does anyone know the best place to get one , Many thanks

You will get one from LR there not that expensive don't think anyone apart from the dealers will have them.

Try a liberal coating of WD40, and I mean loads before you go spending any money..

This sorted mine out, the switch was fine but the catch was gunked up.
