You could sell that number plate to one of the forum members rather than leave it on the Mini

I like the idea of scary sounding VIPER STRIPES that are pink and before any smart arses say it - I am aware of the Dodge sports carD4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

You can fit a baby seat in the back or the front seat of the Mini (and it's easy to load in with the roof down). I shudder to think of the depreciation you're going to have to wear on a sale.
Unless it's multiples in which case you'll need another D3. One of the only cars on the road able to take three carrycots accross the back seat......

You're so right there.
And Boden sell baby clothes too. I've cut up the credit cards already!

True you can, but the rear is so tight for our (soon to be) 9 yr old daughter to be in all the time. Then when it comes to getting a push car etc in the boot, you're stuffed. The Mini is a great car, but simply not practical enough. Wife will be very upset to see it go.
Depreciation isn't that bad.....But then I sold my 1yr old D3 a few months ago and took a massive hit on that. I could have purchased two brand new cars with the money I lost in depreciation & finance charges!
We're keeping the D3 plate. I've put my D3 plate on the Defender now as I'll be chopping and changing cars many times over the next year.Matt

Yep - I forgot that it's not the kids that take up the room, it's all the clobber you have to cart around. I think the Mini's luggage capacity stretches to a couple of thick magazines so you'd be better off just getting another D3. With a roof rack. And a trailer.

Matt.... just how many beers had you and the Mrs had when you chose that colour scheme 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Matt, why not stick the plate on a retention certificate? Cheaper than paying to transfer it back and forth all the time in the run up to getting a "proper" car.
If my daughter were 9 years older you'd have a buyer for that Mini too I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Two girls against me.
I took the RRS of here and brought the D3 for me. She could have what she wanted for the price of my van. She wanted a Mini. Loved the pepper white. Then the salesman started talking about accessories. My daughter then asked what they did in pink. "Nothing" was the answer, but then they all got carried away.Matt
