Hi Largsbear,
I wrote to Nick at Yeovil Land Rover a wee while ago and he quoted me the following for the bits and pieces to fit the lamps.
The foglamp upgrade kit includes Bezels, Fixings, 2 x lamps, 1 x wiring loom, 1 x main light switch
£144.19 inc vat which is the Disco3 price.
I've not been able to get them yet as I had to get a vandalised panel resprayed at the time so I ran short of cash so the price might have changed. But I've started to get myself thinking that I might be able to get it done soon.
Today in fact I was in a dealers in Glasgow and made an enquiry and they quoted £80 plus vat to flash the ecu for the lights to work.
Funnily they also said I would need a new bumper with the holes already cut in it. Which I think is a mistake. I'm sure I've seen pics in someones gallery that did it themselves as the cut outs are marked on the rear of the bumper (just like the side steps).
I've been looking the pictures but cant find them, anyone know who's gallery there in ?

you are right, you do not need a new bumper...when you take your bumper off you will see on the reverse the pattern you need to cut out to fit the lamps....
Speak to 10forcash on reflashing the ecu for lights he is able to do this now...
the price you listed is still good..........
Nick TLO has left the building.......

Cheers guy's.
I knew there were pic's in someones gallery.
I had to get the dealer flash the ecu when my driving lamps and a-frame were fitted but I'm hearing different things about the fogs, I've also heard it needs done depending on the age of the car.
The dealers I was in today ............. I'll not name them to protect the stupid ....... would quite happily have taken the money for a new bumper that was'nt needed.

thanks to all who replied, I just recently got a set of side steps from Nick(great price)and will be putting these on 1st then the front fogs. Moving house also in a week or so things on hold but I will be doing this sooner than later. Also if/when I get my car back from the dealers in Glasgow. I have a faulty fuel tank sender which is on back order with landrover and they have had the car for over 1 week. Fuel guage showing a quarter of a tank where there is nothing in it, also getting cubby box clip fixed and coolent bottle replaced.....largsbear TDv6 S 7 seat

A colleague of mine was pulled by the plod for having his spots on 'unecessarily' (can't remember their exact phrasing). A big argument ensued, and he got away with it because Ford had called them driving lamps, not fog lamps or spot lamps. Maybe the reason? Disco 5 HSE Lux
