FBH Removal

Right, during the summer I intended to remove my FBH for agood clean as Robbies guide is very informative.

The thing is, I've bought a house connector but looking at it view do I remove the clips that good the rubber section to the solid section of the fuel pipe.?.... They look like some kind of crimps.?

Also if the heater does have to stay out of the car for a day or so hire do I go about making sure the FBH fuel pump won't pump fuel.? Will it sence the heater is missing or would pulling fuse 28 cut power to the pump.?

Many thanks

Tony

From memory, if you separate the fuel pipe at the push fit connection in the l/h front wheel arch, you won't have to touch the other connectors. You just push down on the inner collar of the connector and withdraw the pipe upwards. Thumbs Up

The fuel pump is directly powered by the FBH, so if it's not there the pump will not be powered.

Thumbs Up
