Langdale Camping Barn I was told, may be Gt Langdale bunkhouse. I think the plan is 2 nights with a walk inbetween. For once it's not me that is organising the group's event, so I can just sit back and complain

I went to Lansdale first....had a bevy in the DG
then drove out & on to the passes.....
thats how I missed the roads closed signs
no snow but on some of the down stretches ice kerb to kerb..
so had to aim the Disco at where I wanted to be & negotiated my way across
I would stay away if there was snow up there as going off the road could have dire consequences...
but on a good clear day well worth making the trip...
done this many times......the first being in a morris minor van BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
