D4 HSE LUX - Spare wheel question
Looking to get this one answered.
My 65 plate D4 HSE LUX has the optional Black wheels, until the other day is never even looked at the spare but assumed as it was a full size wheel it would match the others.
I had managed to pick up a screw which resulted in a slow puncture in one of the tyres and went to put the spare on. On lowering it down I find it's the same full size wheel with matching Pirelli Scorpion tyre as the rest but it has the diamond cut finish. Is this correct ?? as I would have thought it would have 5 matching wheels.

Someone with diamond cut rims will be driving around with a black spare. Factory cockup or dealer swapping it out for someone hoping you won't notice.

More likely there was a shortage of black wheels at the factory you so the cars were sent out with available diamond cut ones for spares. ISTR there were quite a few bits & bobs from the black kit that weren't on the cars as they didn't have them at the factory.
