Portable camping hot water camp shower
Not sure if this has been discussed before but does anyone have experience of one of the portable gas showers, myself and the missus are off to Portugal next month for three weeks, mostly off grid. She is insisting on showering with warm water Any advice welcome.
Thanks

I used to have one of these, loved it, you would occasionally have to run the water through twice before it became boiling hot, but was perfect for my needs - only sold as upgraded trailer
I got mine on eBay for around £80, so they are out there Iggy/Ieuan

Not as smart but I’ve used a paella burner to heat a very large pot of water and then just put this water into a cheap solar shower bag.D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Unfortunately, can’t give you more info as this was already fitted to our trailer when we bought it from a forum member a couple years ago.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Thanks for this, I like the look of the Kampa geyser, I assume it comes with a 12v electric pump that you put into your water source, how was it fitted to your trailer?
Love the idea of getting the paella pan out but would probably start cooking as I’m part Sicilian

perfect
I used to run mine from a bucket of fresh water, so it would go back in, and within a few minutes, lovely hot water
Running it from a big tank would only ever give warm(ish) waterIggy/Ieuan
