I was looking to swop back into the new D5 from my X1 originally I swopped a D4 for a x5 which I love but was looking at 2.0 version of a D5 but ended up at £48 k for a S but that's not going to happen shame but to much money

I specced an S up to just shy of £50K, then switched to the SE, Just so i could get the signaiture Lights and specced that up to £53.
If i say it enough times i might get used to it, But it's a lot of money for a Discovery.
I,m getting an XC90 for the weekend 7th 8th Jan, i'll be able to make a more rationale descision then i think. Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Don' t think about the total list price. Think about the cost to change. It looks much better that way.  Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

I agree it's cost to change but it's a lump of money I have had the q7 for the weekend and it's ok but prefer the look of the xc90 that's my next look about some good deals on few month old high spec versions

Yes but why such good deals on supposedly such a good car, because they are under powered especially for towing. They are like the D5 2.0 will do the job but have to be worked hard as a 2.0 MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Hi Russell think your right then xc 90 drove well but sure it would not be happy towing 2 ton around but it's still a contender as I wasn't planning to tow with it
Will Make my mind up sooner or later
