Slime
Hi,
I have a slow puncture on one of my tyres, with plenty of tread on it which is annoying. There is no visible culprit e.g. Nail etc. I was thinking about sticking some slime in it, has anyone got any experience using this? Does it work?
Thanks,
Jamie

One of my tyres has a slow leak - I think it's the valve and I will try and get it sorted over the next week whilst I'm off.Mark.

Hi
spoke to my sister last night, well it is Christmas
she had a flat tyre yesterday morning, could see no sign of damage so used her 12v tyre pump and inflated it, drove to tyre centre and they said they would "Glue" it as leaking on the rim
Sounds like what they did was remove the tyre and apply a rubber solution with a paint brush and put the tyre back on, all good and guaranteed cost her £12
Think I would rather have the tyre took off Clean the rim/seat area then put the tyre back on.

I always use slime on my bike tyres and it works perfectly. Noticed slime do an autotyre version too. I've got some to test it out

I've got a slow puncture on mine and while it was having its service yesterday they removed the tyre from the wheel and it looks as if the tyre has been eating the rim
The mechanic said he had seen the same problem on a RRS once before and he reckoned it was due to my Duratracs flexing on the wall which wear the rim that or a poor quality alloy !
So it's worth while checking yours to see if you haven't got the same problem before you fill it with the green devil
I've got a video of the wheel the mechanic took but can't seem to upload it but is shows notches worn out on the inside of the rim !!!!MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎
