Discovery 4 Low range whining & pedal vibration

A few quick questions I am hoping some one may be able to answer to help damp down my LR paranoia as the Disco nears the end of its 3 year warranty! Rolling Eyes.

First: I have just used my disco 4 in low range for the first time in a while and noticed it has a transmission whine whilst driving through all gears (this is not happening in high range and I don't remember it previously in low range), is this normal or should I get it checked out.

Second: I have also notice that when driving on motorways etc around 70mph I am now getting a vibration through the accelerator pedal and left foot rest which I know I have not had before, it seems worse as you go over uneven surfaces and the suspension compresses. it does not seem to appear below that speed. - any suggestions on what it may be?

Many thanks in advance Thumbs Up
