Is this the biggest bargain for 17" Alloys?

Heres one that I think will be difficult to beat.

I was looking for a set of wheels so I could take the 20" Range Stormers off for winter.

Just got a full set of 17" alloys with nearly brand new (done 20 miles) 235 x 70 x 17 Continentals on off Ebay for the unbelievable price of £195!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were from a LR dealer, who expected much more for them, but nobody bid.

Must say I AM WELL CHUFFED

Congratulations Very Happy

You didn't happen to have the auction finish during the rugby or F1 did you? eBay would have been quiet then!

Same dealer also had a set of 5 go for around £230, IIRC, the next morning.

I had a similar result earlier in July - from a LR Dealer - however I believe your good fortune is as a result of a customer upgrading the wheels when ordering a new car! I was informed by 'a dealer' that they keep them for a 'period of time' in case the customer requests them! if not requested then they get fleabayed!

I was considering bidding on the 17"s but as I already have 5 brand new 18"s plus my existing brand new spare I didn't need them.

Good work fella - I was also very pleased with my good fortune. Very Happy
