good first name.

yes I believe that is correct, but it goes deeper than the regular OBD readers. Plenty of information on Black Box's website and on here.

had a look , have got a iid and was just wondering what it done over the iid

see some do a live display readings, i.e. mpg etc

but can only see this just displays faults only
