Air suspension - False reading from Compressor temp sensor? |
|
Hi all
This is a follow up from a post of mine last week. I am getting the error "suspension will raise when system cooled" even first thing on a morning on startup. I plugged in my iCarsoft tool and there are no errors. Live data shows motor temp 18 deg C but compressor temp 189 deg C. To cut a long story short I have checked the wiring from the module to the compressor and it is continuous and no shorts or to ground. I checked the resistance across the sensors and :-
Motor sensor - 1.8 MOhm
Compressor sensor - 11kOhm.
First off do these values look right? I assume that the motor one is as it is reporting the correct temp. I replaced the compressor myself 11 months ago so the part is in warranty. Does the suspension ECU fail at all with this kind of error? Just would like some input before I get it replaced.
Cheers
Andy

Is that the small connector on the compressor itself, Mikey? Cheers,
