I was thinking of replace OE scorpion zero's with these has anyone run them what do you think? Mainly road use bit rough track and muddy field stuff while fishing. Your thoughts would be most welcome. I'm to old to know everything......

I have Scorpion Verdes on my 21's, and I would say they look like a road pattern tyre. Might be ok on a rough(ish) track, but wouldnt want to attempt a muddy field with then on. Could be rather embarrassing.

The Scorpion Zeros are the right fitment for the car. The Verdes are their "green" (low rolling resistance tyre) with no off road capability. They have since made a Verde M+S, which seems a contraction in terms and certainly doesn't seem to have a tread pattern capable of self cleaning mud and snow.
I'd stick with the Zeros! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄

I understood the Zero was being phased out,and the Verde was going to be only option shortly ?
..I'm sure I read somewhere that LR now fit the Verde as the OEM tyre on a number of models instead of the Zero.
Happy to be corrected if that isn't the case,as I've just started looking at road biased tyres to replace my 20 inch Zeros "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

If you want excellent road biased tyres, save yourself a load of cash and buy these:

Yep, Verde's are standard fit on RRS Sport. You would have thought they'd have some off road capability.

The Verde is a summer tyre and 100% road use. The Verde All Season is, obviously, all season and is 85%/15% on/off road.
On the new vehicles with more developed TR etc., the 85/15 nature of the all season is probably good enough for the realistic use of the vehilces. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Thanks for all the replies so far. I've been on Pirelli's web site and they describe them as an all weather tyre with a bias of 85% road 15% off road so l thought they looked ideal for what I want. Is that this true is not at stockists yet? I'm to old to know everything......

Its nice to see that 275/45x21 110Y Scorpion Verde all season are even cheaper at 138 as these are whats on my 21" RRS alloys
Bigger tyres doesnt always mean bigger prices.

Do you notice any difference in the 55s against the 50s?
I think my 3 ride better on 19s than the 4 on 20s, does the bigger sidewall help? I'm to old to know everything......

That's what I'm hoping for,by going from the 50 on my Zeros to 55 on the Verdes.
The ride from the front isn't what it used to be,and I nearly bought road tyres with a 55 profile for my 19's,but thought I'd try the 55 profile on my 20's instead.....my Zeros are close to the limit, which I've always found affects the 20's more, but I'll report back on any improvement (or otherwise) "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

That would be great as I think I'll go for a set soon.
