Extended warranty

Hi guys my D4 is nearing the end of its LR warranty, what are your opinions/experiences with LR and independent extended warranties,, the good bad and ugly

we preferred to keep it all in house..our service etc is done by LR so is the warranty...if it goes bits up they have the history and no one else to blame

Aftermarket for me with Warranty Direct. Covers wear and tear which the LR one doesn't and is much cheaper.

Never extended the LR warranty after 3 years, just taken out a WD warranty near 7th birthday - seems to be weapon of choice on the site

LR warranty is not underwritten by LR anyway ISTR (could be wrong)

Correct, Car Care do the extended warranty. I will be using WD come June when my LR Approved Used warranty expires.
