Road test dates
Does anyone know when we can expect the first full on road test reports for the D5?

My dealer said at the weekend they are due showroom cars in 2-3 weeks, so if they are getting to that stage I would have thought the magazines would have them soon.Andy

There is a Facebook post from today for the Land Rover Experience Eastnor, with a photo showing a long line of them.
So I guess they could be ready for the press.Andy

I know the dealer training has been ongoing at Eastnor (and maybe other locations) through January, and they get to drive them. I would imagine the embargo is for customer test drives in the dealer demonstrators. I am sure they will try and synchronise the road test publication dates with at least the showroom cars being in place, and that cannot be too far away with customer cars coming in March if not before.

That is of course if the journalists don't kill themselves on the tailgate, die of shock looking at the hideous rear end, lose it in a car park with other designs as it is anonymous (even though design doesn't matter, it is all about utility) and the act of commercial suicide that is the "Mess" of the D5 before anyone has driven one

They could just do a find and replace on a Ford Explorer review, save a bit of time writing

I may have been playing to the home crowd, it was only a matter of time. It is a bit like Godwin's law, in any thread on hear relating to the D5 will mention the Explorer eventually so I just thought I would help it on the way.
Just praying the deed poll paperwork comes through to change the kids names to Tarquin and Tamara so they fit into their new private school before mine arrives in March. My conversion to a Yummy Mummy is proving more problematic though.

I'm struggling with a yummy mummy name, I'm thinking Victoria but I'm not sure, I don't see myself as a Victoria. Maybe Zara?
