So ive noticed that my heated windscreen only appears to be working for half of the screen the drivers side luckily the drivers side lol has anyone had this, Anyone have a fix for this could it be like a fuse or something but i would have thought none would work if it was a fuse

I think it is fused separately for each side, fuse F18 & F15 by battery. Mine were also missing when I bought my D3

There are two fuses in the engin bay fuse box, one for each side. I had the same problem when I bought my second hand D4 and found one of the fuses was completely missing. If it's not a fuse problem, it could be a connection problem at the windscreenor a or failed element which can be checked with a multimeter.
Just beaten to it by L319 !
P.S. you might find that your fuse list in the handbook doesn't show two fuses nor does it agree with the symbols on the cover of the fuse box.

I noticed mine has a few lines working here and there it's not specifically one side does one side doesn't. I'm guessing the filaments have gone on a lot of the lines. Would that be a new screen ?Jarrod

Well after reading the replacement windscreen thread further up I think I'm just going to live with it too and not look for an excuse to get it changed. Jarrod

That's where I am. If it cracks/breaks, then a new one it is, but otherwise it's staying.

Same happening on my 06 RRS. Checked fuses and relay, OK. Removed passenger A pillar trim and checked feed to windscreen, OK. Disconnected windscreen an checked continuity, OK.
Conclusion - whilst there is continuity, the resistance isn't great enough to build up enough heat across the screen. As it is the passenger side at fault, I'll live with it until the screen is broken and needs replacing.
