Actually, I technically still own the D3 (423k km in 11 years), but I collected a D4 Graphite Santorini Black last friday.
It used to be a demo vehicle from a dealer with just 250km ..
Since I'd done quite some stuff on and in the D3, I was looking to do similar mods on this one .. will need to find other solutions though []
Nobody around with a 3D printer I assume ...
No need to put pictures of this standard vehicle Might do so when I go through the additional bits and pieces ..
What I'm thinking of
Interior led lights (recovered from D3)
Dog guard (recovered from D3)
Auxiliary battery
Driving lights
RAI
Roofrack + additional lights
Rear ladder
DVD Headrests each powered seperately and switches in the window switch panel in the doors (+ USB power ports)
Map Reading light
Additional Switches next to the USB and Aux port
Although the Nav does a great job, I cannot leave my Garmin
Sump guard
Rear lights protectors (although I'm not sure wether this conflicts with the dead spot sensor)

D3 11y, 425k km - sold, miss it though (MAR, DNK, NOR, SWE, SCO, WAL, MUD ...)
Ok, I'll use this one to keep track on the things I'd been doing on the new D4.
Where possible and when I do remind, I'll add the references as well ..
So, here's the first pic .. that's what beauty I started with

Well, since the car didn't come with any mats (except for the rubber OEM one in the boot) - I had that same situation with the D3, 12 years ago, I'm not a fast learner - decided to go for cheaper ones than the original ones.
It became quite clear to me I did want to protect the pedals as well. Refering to the state of the D3 ones, I had to find something.
Went for LR ones this time, since I pretty much liked them anyway.
Really one of the first things I wanted to add, the rear lamp guards.
I haven't found an answer to the question 'why' there can't be any front lamp guards on the MY16 (well, >MY14 for that matter), I assume it has to do with ... well, light patterns? Dunno.
I then went on protection more stuff .. The second row seats.
It's a 5 seater, so no need to worry about the 3rd row for me ...
Went for the Inka ones. Had expercience with those on the D3 and was pleased with those, especially price-wise. And from what I read on the forum and understood, they, after all, produced the OEM protections anyway.

Nevertheless, although they fit nicely, it crossed my mind to go for a different set in front. But that will come later.
I like the Inka's covering not only the part of the seat where people, well, sit, but also the back of the seats. The material the covers are made off, will make cleaning easy. This is great if you're planning in carrying a dog around. Which is in our case.

I then went on to install the holders for both my smartphone and an extra GPS (Garmin 2797). I still think the latter is more intuitive and easier to use. (and free map updates)
I recovered some Brodit parts from the D3-installation but went for a new Brodit Centre Console ProClip 854412 as well to have my smartphone out of the way, but still in reach.

I did install ignition-live chargers for both the phone and the GPS. I did not take pictures of my struggle with removing the centre console, the radio, pulling the cables through and so on ..
Brodit also has a mid-center console holder, http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=854413, which I do have as well, but seems to be useless at this moment .. thought of it otherwise when I ordered the item
Thanks Iguana, dgardel and Hairy Dan .. I'll try to keep up although I have a backlog of 5 months Installation of things went quicker than posting that stuff on here D4

Having a remote for the gate and garage door, I installed one permanently in the D3, recovered it and went for an installation in the D4.
Went for a different location this time, but changed my mind some time later, when I saw Wiggs excellent solution for the center 'holes' 8)
Anyway, that's where I did mount the switch and remote at first.
I did foresee a location for the upcoming extra driving lights/DRL as well.

The switch is a momentary on-off-on Carling rocker switch.
Knowing what the D-Sport had to offer, what the D5 was offering and the needs of my passengers, I decided to install some USB chargers.
I didn't go for the cheaper ones, wanted to have some decent USB ports, providing more than 1A on the ports.
I first went for an installation at the back of the cubby box, since I do not have the multimedia-A/V in my car, the room was there next to the 12V connection.

Recognising there's lots of stuff that can operate/be charged from USB, I decided to add some more USB ports where the room was available.
Looking at the B pilars first, I found the space behind the cover plates not sufficient.
My attention then turned towards the doors .. and hence, having no multimedia, offered me ample room to install a similar USB charger in the doors.
This is the result of the USB charger with the window controller,

The installation of the power cables was done by removing the door cards ..

The children love it and since they're connected to the auxiliary battery, I do not need to worry about discharging the main. That setup will be posted later .. I try to have everything written down as I installed stuff.
In this stage, none of the USB chargers were connected yet. The supplementary electrical distribution was far from ready to go .. there was none
Recovering the portable air compressor from the D3, I opted for a slightly changed installation as well.
Removing the left side panel in the boot, I found out that the 12V connection was actually present. So why not adding the 12V in the boot as well. Always handy.

Decided to 'punch a hole' in the small storage area in the boot, in order to have the connector located in that area. Out of the way, still protected and easily reachable should one need it. I had it mounted next to the 13 pins connector on the D3. Corrosion was inevitable

Final installation of the connecting end for the air compressor. You'll notice an additional 12V outlet.

Location of the portable air compressor, a 5 seater offers some more room I guess
You'll notice another device. That'll come later
I've changed the bulbs of the headlights as well. I really missed my Xenon on the D3 and opted for a LED solution.
I found these compatible with the socket
