Disabling handbrake
Right I've had a look on here and can't find nothing.
My handbrake needs sorting and that's fine nut as I've a manual it comes on automatically when I remove the keys.
Is there anyway I can stop it coming on?

I think if you hold the brake switch down in the off position as you switch off and remove the key it will stay off .

Will try holding first.
If that doesn't work will remove the fuse.
Cheers guys

I also found that removing the fuse for the handbrake caused my D3 to stall at junctions. Don't ask me how or why as I don't have a wiring diagram but as soon as that fuse went back in it stopped!!

Holding the button down should work, no need to remove the fuse. You just need to remember to hold the button down, that's when the problems start as it becomes habit either not to touch it or to pull it up when stopping.
As for the insurance/road-worthiness of removing the fuse; I'm sure a non-functioning brake will make it equally un-roadworthy...
Obviously you should park in gear if not using the park brake.
(really obviously. you should 'always' park in gear incase of park/hand brake failure)
