Pro-Trax P&P at Tixover Quarry
Hi guys, still very new to this forum, but I was talking to one of the guys at the Land Rover Experience Centre at Rockingham on Tuesday and they mentioned a pay and play day at Tixover quarry tomorrow (Sunday 04/03/17) and I was just wondering if anyone from here was going?
Also, if people have been before as I am still a bit of a novice and would like to know if my standard D3 on Pirelli Scorpian tyres would be alright?
Thanks in advance!

You'll have no problems on standard tyres, LR Experience use Tixover sometimes and all their cars are on standard rubber.

Those were the days, those fake Land Rovers with ugly rear ends that looked like Transit Connects went everywhere even though they were full of electric rubbish that would see the cars dead within 5 years DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

You could also try Yarwell - also organised by Protrax. See this topic with video from Mr Tom.
I have been to neither but certainly intend to give one of them a try. I am booked on the Off Road day at end of April thats been organised by the D3 & 4 facebook group, which ends up at Tixover. But fancy Yarwell too at some point.
I'm sure with some notice we could organise a few of us to make a D3/4 day of it.MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff
It was her first trip off road, but quickly got into the swing of things... saying go up there, back in the water, can we go in the mud, etc.
She can have a go behind the wheel next time
