Insurance for modified vehicle
So having been let down badly by A Plan i need to source a quote for my D3. Is anybody using any other insurers who cover modified vehicles that i could try.55 Plate Disco 3 HSE. EGR blanked, Decat exhaust, AMK Compressor, bought 20 Dec 13. Watch this space for future upgrades. - Disco 4 front cup holders, D4 Bluetooth, Brembo 4 pot front V8 rear brakes, front diff breather mod, BAS FBH controller, fixed towbar, D4 heated washer jets
Silicone intercooler hoses, RS 500 Intercooler, decat exhaust, remap

Let down in as much as my renewal came through yesterday with a favorable price. I rang to pay it and whilst going through the details the question of modifications was raised. I said that they were the same as previous years - which i declare every time and as per my profile on here and they stated that they did not have a record of any modifications. The ran this past the insurer who has declined to offer insurance based on the modifications and the next cheapest quote they could offer me is over £100 more expensive.
The worrying thing from my point of view is that i could have been driving around for the last year with a vehicle which in the event of an accident may not have been insured.
