It's an interesting thought but, as DSL says, it's never going to happen.
Land Rover have a very clear idea where they are heading; it may alienate many of their current clientèle, but they seem to have the budget to build the clean sheet designs that their target customers apparently want and are prepared to pay very high prices for.
However, while the average town & city dwelling BMW/Audi driver (who's now seen Bear Grylls and "the countryside" on TV) might be all over a new generation Land Rover, a reworked D4 would be about as relevant to them as a 3 Series or Evoque would be to me!

Time wil tell. But given that Tata has two flunked car projects of tiny cars in India, and a monster size factory idling, it wouldn't surprise me at all. As I said ; it might not target the EU market at all !

JLR export very little to the EU compared to what they export to China USA Australia etc so without EU restraints red tape and the like I think Brexit makes good sense for the company.17 Golf GT TDI Tornado Red

I carry out out construction works at some of the new plants and it seems to be the concenus of the workforce. If you think what are best sellers in Europe that are direct competition to JLR X5 X3 Q7 Q5 ML Jag sector 7 5 & 3 series S E & C Class it's not hard to see why.17 Golf GT TDI Tornado Red
