So i have decide to upgrade the current D4 HSE to a HSE LUX.
I have been looking for quite a while for the one that made me want to jump.
What i managed to find was a MY14 EX LR HSE Lux in Montalcino Red with Black pack and very low millage (17k). So all the standard Lux equipment (rear screens etc). Plus:
Rear Air con
Surround cameras
Wade sensors
Blind spot assist
But the real 2 clinchers for me was:
Rear e-diff
&
Adaptive Cruise Control & Forward motion sensor.
Yes Adaptive Cruise control, i have never seen one on a D4 before! I had this on my AMG and loved it. So when i saw this it was a done deal.
I collect the car next week.
Big strip down of the current D4 is starting in the morning!
Will get some pictures up very soon.
Filming something somewhere...

Very happy! A little older than I would've wanted but it's just such a perfect car!
Gareth, I was a little concerned initially that it wouldn't work! But on the test drive it all worked as should!
I'm interested to try find more out about it - who had it etc I'm pretty sure I've seen an image of it on here from someone who works at JLR maybe?Filming something somewhere...

Very reassuring to hear. Long may it continue.
Though any "beep" may be met with a bit more of an adrenaline rush than normal.
