The Sunday Times had a review of the D5 on Sunday.
In passing it said that although the 2 litre engine was Ingenium (it wasn't very complimentary about it!), the V6 was a Ford unit (presumably the same one as in the D4). That was news to me. Is it correct ?

That's my understanding. It's not the same as the D4 one though - that has twin turbos - but is the same as the one in the FFRR. It's a stop gap engine until the JLR 6 cylinder engines come out. 2014MY Discovery
