After loads of searching I decided to go and order me one of the autoscan replacement keys as everyone has had success with them and they have the LR badge on etc.
I've gone and used my IID to program the key and it has been confirmed as 'operation successful' on the screen however it does not turn the car over or operate the central locking.
I checked the print on the key and it clearly says 'Canada' and '315MHz'. Now I know this is incorrect and have spoken to autoscan and they're claiming that the printing on the key is an error and to ignore it as they only sell the 433MHZ ones.
Anybody that's bought an autoscan key can you shed some light on what you have and if they're/I'm talking tripe.
They've told me the IID isn't used to program the keys (I know they prob don't know what an IID is and so haven't gone into lengthy spiel about how awesome it is)
Any help is hugely appreciated.

Am I reading this wrong but those 315mhz references are the previous and next product in their "shopfront"? They have the ref to 315mhz in big, bold signs. Sounds like they have just sent you the wrong thing, if it's got 315mhz on it then that'll be what it is and you're being fobbed off, excuse the pun.
Does anyone know of a way that I can test the frequency of my key? If I tune my radio to the freq and then blip the button I assume it'll cause interference?Ted
