Knocking front bushes, incorrectly worn tyres and pulling..
Any recommendations for someone who can sort out the bushes and alignment on a disco 3?
In North East Somerset ideally.
I did have the vehicle alignment checked and it was okay but something is wrong. There is a knocking on the front when going over light bumps, the vehicle pulls quite strongly to the left and the front and rear tires are wearing badly on the insides (not evenly)

Would think 2 probs.
Knocking prob lower arm bushes need replacement.
The alignment can be correct but the camber adjustment can still be out which will wear the sides of the tyres.
You need a proper 4 wheel alignment which can adjust camber as well.
Best to deal with lower arm bushes first then get full alignment.

I had a knocking when going over low kerbs or bumpy terrain and wear on the inside of the tyres about 6 months ago
Changed front lower arms, and had realignment.
Was told camber could not be adjusted but with new arms it was in tolerance anyway
I got the Heavy Duty RR ones from advanced factors
Been fine since and tyre wear is very even
I got the Hunter 4 wheel alignment cheap at £50 but worth getting it done as saves easy that and more on tyres

Thanks for the replies I used QR Sport at Tattenhall in the end who have a Hunter machine.
I can well recommend them cracking service and discount if you mention that you found them on Alignmycar website

Bit of a thread resurrection, and I think I know where I'm heading, but I figured I'd ask.
I have a 61-plate D4 HSE which has recently (in the last month) had its 60k service. The Indie suggested that the bushes at the front are starting to show signs of giving up and that at some point relatively soon the lower arms will need replacing (£600 sound about right?). I don't think I've noticed the tell-tale clunks yet, but now I'm listening out for them I probably will.
Anyway, to my point; outside edge of nearside front wheel is wearing quicker than both the rest of that tyre and anything on the offside front wheel. They're Grabber AT's.
Is this symptomatic of the bushes going? We've had the car less than a year and it's an Approved Used. I know this is a wear and tear item (both tyres and lower arms), but I've not had call to get tracking done.
The car is used primarily by my wife for daily duties ferrying the kids around in a suburban landscape, no off roading despite the poor quality of Edinburgh roads at times.
I'd rather not get alignment done if I'm going to have to get the lower arms done anyway. I'm feeling the need for a new tyre soon anyway.

Ive just been told my front upper bushes and ball joints need replacing, I was shown the play on them by my independent garage and was shocked at how bad they were. Been quoted £350 to replace both sides..You can't educate pork...
