egr blankoff ??

Hi every1 loving my new truck and this forum so a ? Should i blank off egr wst will it do ie better running mpg smoother ?? Dont no really thanks in advance

Blanking EGR valves is in my opinion is a worth while mod. However please tell us what year your car is, the guys on this Forum are always willing to help. Basically 2007 and earlier (Euro 3 Spec) then it's a simple blanking plate job, later cars circa 2008 (Euro 4 Spec) then it's still possible, however a software patch will be required. Plus it's NOT a truck Big Cry

I blanked mine with a BAS kit,no noticeable mpg increase TBH but I think it would take more than a few plates to improve on a tdv6! Whistle
What it does do though is reassure me that there is one less thing to worry about on the bloody thing! (It's OK she can't hear me!)

I have a 2006 disco 3 lol 2.7tdv6 auto fsh was basic when i got it now modded loads i love it fsh
