Nanocom Canbus cable
Hi all, new member after having just bought an 09 disco 3 to replace the TD5 disco 2.
I already have a Nanocom Evolution that i used for the TD5 disco 2 but after trying to buy the unlock code that I could just about justify i'm now told I need a canbus cable at over £80 including VAT and delivery!
The annoying thing is that the canbus cable also covers the TD5!! Giving that they are the same price to buy i would have thought the units would all be sent out with the multi purpose cable!
I assume there is no way around this? I can't really justify £300 for the software and cable as i can get access to a garage either cheap or free but i would like to be independent as I do all repairs myself! Also means I have a Nanocom that's useless to me!

I was in the same predicament when I got my car and I decided to sell the Nanocom and buy the IID Bluetooth.😉Discovery 4 HSE SDV6

I also had a TD5 Disco before, decided after a bit of research to sell on the Nanocom rather than pay for another licence, you can re-coup most of your original outlay.
Used that as a part payment towards my BT IID for the Disco 3.
Can recommend this unit, more user friendly and Customer service 2nd to none
