Is this normally the torque converter or the actual gearbox?
The box shifts cleanly and seems good to me, although it's my first auto. I had the filter replaced and the box flushed when I bought the car a few months ago.
If it is the Torque converter, what is the typical labour time to change it out?

Had similar symptons recently and found it to be inner CV joint on the nearside
Any noise, rotational when turning at all?

Does the RPM wander by +/- 200 revs climbing a slope with steady acceleration? Dave
