Sitting in the sun enjoying a pint of Old Man at its home in the Black Bull, Coniston.
Got 5 days of this.

Take the time to visit the Ruskin Museum and look around the Donald Campbell items and K7.

Bluebird cafe by the Lake is also worth a visit.

If you are in your D4 you can drive up to Coniston Old Man and there is a track just under it which is doable with care.

Afternoon Mark, hope you're well. We're up near Abersoch. We've had a seasonal pitch here for about 7 or 8 years now. Rain has just come in so time to crack open a beer.

Hope all's well with Mick, I thought he had to shoot off to Spain .. How are you bud.

Damn rain

Hi Stephen, Yes all good now thanks with my new pumps and belts. When I was a spotty youth and had my first road legal car ( Hillman Avenger) in 1979 my friend and I drove down to Abersoch and stayed the weekend. As I remember 3 red hot days in July. I also met a girl down there but cannot remember her name, doubt weather she would remember mine after 38 years Shocked Yes Mick is away tomorrow as it was the first available flight. He has been very good to me today and restored my faith in my car. Hope you are well my friend and enjoying the bank holiday. Unfortunately I am working but this time next week all being well I will be sat with a pot of tea in Inverness ready for the start of the N500 the day after Thumbs Up
