At worst you will have about 2tonne on one of them, and that assumes you have only one other point on the ground!
The 3tonne is max weight, not the tested weight. Mark.

Your whole vehicle doesn't weigh three tons, in theory one three ton stand should support the total vehicle if you could balance it on one. So there should be no issues with just the front on two three ton stands.
You can lift the front by placing the jack in the middle using the undertray as the jacking point. At least I'm sure that's where Disco Mikey lifts mine from.
At the rear you can place the jack under the rear diff.

The only reason we tend to use larger ones (around 6T) is to get the height rather than the weight.
