Anyone else get an email this morning?

SWMBO got one today. I didn't!
The blurb says you've got until 1st July this year to redeem.
Funny thing is, I've got an old voucher to redeem and should have got one for the DS, but didn't, although that shouldn't be too much trouble to chase up.

Got one in the post and one when I bought the car! In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

That might help explain why LR have replaced their entire LRE D4 stock virtually overnight.
I can't remember LR giving away free LRE vouchers for at least a couple of years.
I wonder why the change of heart?

I haven't a clue. SWMBO has had LRs in the past, but that's it. She hasn't expressed any interest specifically.

You could try, but I don't think it's as straight forward as that tbh.

So I take it then all defenders and D4 have gone ? But if you have bought a last model of them how can you see what it can do?.would of thought they would have these for at least 2 years.

I've entered into some debate with LR over this one. LRE is not about showing you what your car will do and how to drive it; it's about getting you into the latest car to encourage drivers to buy. They were pretty blunt/honest/cocky as can be about this point. Working in sales, I couldn't fault their logic.
Discontinued models are disposed of "as quickly as production schedules allow". Forget D4's. Forget Defenders.

Defender and Discovery 4 are still available at some LRE Centres. Defender will stay for a while, Discovery 4 will probably go when the New Discovery's are issued.
