D3 Clean and Problem
I had a cancellation this weekend so decided to spruce up the D3 with a clean, polish and wax.
I usually dont use the expensive stuff on my own cars but I though I would this time.
Car was washed, clayed, polished and two coats or swissvax best of show spit shined onto it.
A couple of reflection shots.

After these were taken I was going to take the D3 out my garage and get a couple of full shots, but I cannot get the drive mechanism to disengage to allow the door to open fully. So cheesed off with it I closed it down and it's a job for tomorrow......D3 RESCUE
Here's a pic of the problem

I've been back out and tried to get the mechanism to 'unlatch' off the drive chain.....NO JOY
Oh' well. Hopefully with fresh eyes tomorrow I'll see whats going on with it, failing that, air out the tyres

Managed to get the door mechanism to release this morning. Must admit it had me worried for a bit. Gingerly reversing out with a bit of brake squeal. The wife commented that it looked like the garage was giving birth

Whats the durability of the Swissvax have you used it previously & seen how it stands up to washing / weather / traffic. I have looked at the Swissvax products....the lower cost ones that is & wondered how they perform.BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
