Gearbox Sump Gasket (only) part number
Hi all
Last year I've successfully followed Filo's gearbox oil change howto and at the same time I decided to change the gearbox plastic sump/ oil filter to the 2 part metal sump/ oil filter.
Everything went well however few months later I have noticed a bit of leakage through the sump bolts, and it feels they are coming loose.
I guess, since I've already changed to a metal sump, and know how the refilling procedure works, I would like to replace the gasket, but not sure of the part number, can you help pls?
Thanks

Well, the challenge is to find the right torx screw for it as the guys at the advanced factors don't have enough (x21).
I think the spec is a torx M6 x 1.0 x 28.5
I've found that the BMW part number might be similar: 24117552108
Or the ZF Interchange Part Number: W0133-1890617-ZF

£2.64 BMW full retail price inc VAT. Possibly special order from Germany but a call to your local dealer's parts dept would confirm.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

The metal ones always leak apparently.
If its not leaving anything on the drive I would leave it.
or if it looks bad tighten bolts and see what happens

Hi Martin
Thats the issue, if I call the dealer, they will recommend the normal torx bolt: TYP500050 SCREW - OIL PAN, which is meant for the plastic sump.
Looking a both pictures:
LR:
BMW:
I can't tell the difference.
