Small trailor

Hi,

Looking for a trailer that will fit in the back of the Disco 3.

Need to transport 7 of us to airport but that will leave no room for luggage. If I had a trailer that I could then put inside the vehicle when I got there, job done.

Does anyone know of such a thing?

Neil

You can buy folding trailers, but usually expensive in comparison with a non-folding type.

Welcome Neil.

I don't know about a trailer, but wouldn't a roof box be easier? Something like this:-

Note: They can be hired from some suppliers.

Why not tow the trailer back empty?

Now that is possibe! As is the seven of them lifting it up and sticking it on the roof bars.

You don't give your location so I don't know if it would be any good offering to loan you my roof rack or Back Rack.
Ah ! just spotted the Flag, oh well my offer is out of the window then by the looks of it.

Thanks all for your ideas,

I am also flying with the rest of the family. the idea was to tow a trailer and then put it in the back ready for the journey home again.

I have roof bars so could check out some roof boxes but they seem so expensive and I really can't see me using it too often where a trailer has so many more uses.

I'll check out ebay and see what I find. If not, they might all have to travel lighter.

Is it to fit in the back so you don't need two car park spaces?

We bought a cheapo Erde 143 from halfords for holidays you can stand them on their end and in the past have managed to stand it up and nose the disco up to it. Still a bit longer than the average parking bay but if you choose your bay wisely it may be an option Thumbs Up If leaving for any length of time attached to the Disco i put a motorbike chain through the recover eye and the trailer foot to stop someone just walking off with it after i came back to find some git in the process of unhitching it in a tesco car park once Evil or Very Mad
