Actually I am quite pleased with myself as i have turned the runners through 180 degrees and redrilled them so now the tent sits sideways on and opens to the side of the car not the back It does away with the need for a roof rack for the time being as i cannot afford one Next thing is to fit a split charge system and buy a battery that fits,not a 75AH yellow top monster that I bought by mistake The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Could that big boy battery fit in the rear side pods? ISTR Wiggs did something like that with a custom bracket.
Got this one fitted. Also a bit tall but change of -ve terminal and good slam of the bonnet and all is well.

Just think to yourself "hey ho, it's only money". Spend it now before Corbyn gets hold of it.

Thing is Del you have to have it before you can spend it I might get one of those 118 118 loans where you use it to buy a battery for a D3 and end up paying back the price of the car )The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

Having just got a WBAC quote for the D3 (out of curiosity) and that would not be far from the truth.
