I guess putting the polystyrene that the jack etc. sit in is a body off job ?
actually glad I did it though ... jack will sit in it better with all the crap/broken glass removed.
and I suspect also my locking fuel door will actually lock now. never checked it but when polystyrene lump came out, the actuator cable was unclipped and given force needed to re-engage it, I don't think I accidentally disconnected it.
if you push & pull it the right way.
I've only done the once.BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
were there two models of jack ? I've ended up cutting a lump out of the top to get the jack to sit back enough that the tools can be strapped in and not distort the cover panel.

ISTR the coilers had a bottle jack. Though I have been wrong in the past, allegedly.
