our d4 bought last September for £49K new ,,has just come up on an insurance valuation as £37k...

That was the book price, there are huge differences between dealers within 60 miles up here. I only paid an extra £500 to the XS I bought 4 years previously, great dealJoined the BMWX5 45e group

Depreciation like this is the price we pay for buying new. No one forces us to do it!

Appears it's a one way ticket....i support the car trade by buying....vat was 8 grand.now they want 12 percent tax to insure it.and 245 quid to tax it .....and lots of tax on the fuel to run it best not to mention BBC wages at present

I bought mine, new with servicing, to order, only extra was heated steering wheel, for a tad over £44k, but was offered a pittance as a trade in, which didn't matter in the end as I sold elsewhere.......there's a huge difference between dealers, it pays to shop around! Joined the BMWX5 45e group
