Where is the best real ale pub in South Devon?

That keeps local ales in tip top condition.

It's tucked away and doesn't look much from the outside, but how about the Queens Arms on Station Hill in Brixham?

The decent ones in Salcombe are all along the harbour, so you can probably check them all - I'd go to the Fortescue. In Kingsbridge, probably the Hermitage in the centre. This time of year and in those places, the pretty ones with a view will be rammed on a nice day - I tend to stay out of the South Hams July/August unless absolutely essential.

Heritage = done. Some interesting characters in there. Like the bar in Star Wars Rolling with laughter
Fortescue = nice ale and outside patio garden. Too many grockles like you say...including me Censored Rolling with laughter
