Mobi V-17 Portable Pressure Washer Review
I've put this in here as I've bought it for the caravan and tent really, for washing off dogs, prams, bikes and wellies etc. when away... Apologies if in the wrong section.
I've been playing with the Karcher portable washer every time I pop into Halfords, but two things kept putting me off, namely the price and the water capacity. So when I can across this at such a reduced price, I took the plunge and ordered one.
The power is claimed to be bigger than the Karcher and also, at 17 litres, I think it will be enough to hose the caravan off if I choose to wash it at its storage location (my only real option). For washing the caravan, I intend to take a blue canoeing barrel (I've got a few) full of hot & soapy, sponge it off and then rinse using this (pre-filled at home)
The reviews are pretty good on the website selling it, and I have to say I'm impressed. You're not going to be cleaning your patio with it - the best description I can give is that it's the same pressure as your average garden hose off mains water with an adjustable spray head. I've done a couple of videos, one on it's jet setting and one on more of a spray:
It would absolutely be enough to use as a rinse hose on prams, bikes, etc as long as the mud wasn't dried-on. I think combined with a bottle of muc-off spray or similar you could get everything nice and clean 'on site' wherever that may be. I also think it would be good to rinse off an oztent etc before putting it away if you're on a muddy site, so at least you can just dry it off when home, rather than folding all the mud into it (I'm thinking IceFest '17 )
On fine spray or with shower attachment it's more than gentle enough for the dog (or the kids!)
Build quality feels okay, the hose connectors are 'half sized' to normal (as is the hose) but everything feels solid and there are no leaks anywhere. You get a shower head and soft brush attachment too, perfect for the dog. You can put warm water in if you want to. It will run off its own battery (apparently its good for several full uses) or direct off a ciggy lighter socket.

The main unit has a nice pocket on the front for the hose, and also neat hide-away storage for the cables.

Overall, happy with it so far. Obviously too soon to comment on reliability but nothing concerning me 'out of the box'. It does come with some spare o-rings and even a spare valve for the trigger which is good. I'll update if anything happens!D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Great item, I've been using its little brother V15 for approx 5 years to help with cleaning with MTB during muddy rides, very reliable. If i was going to buy one again the V-17 would be the one i'd buy definitely.

I bought the Draper equivalent a couple of years ago. Good bit of kit and very useful for getting the salt of the car in winter when I can't be bothered running the hose from the back of the house.2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT
