I am. I thought it would be higher. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Why do they have traffic jams especially for people from Lancaster?? There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.

Unfortunately it was blocked again on Sunday between Lancaster and Kendal due to an RTC and fatality.

If the M6 had 3 in the top 5 entries I wonder how many entries it had in the top 10 or 20.
I can't think of any recent trips on the M6 where i haven't been caught in traffic hold ups 2 or 3 times, it's a bit frustrating trying to predict how long any trip involving the M6 will take these days "Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag'em down to your level. It's cheaper".

I used to travel up and down 3+ times a week for a couple of years visiting Halewood and Warrington.
Travel up used to be a consistent 1hr 50'ish and return, as long as I left by around 3.00pm, 2hr 20'ish. I used M40/M42/M6 toll/M6 as, historically, Brum to Stafford was always the worst leg of any journey.
Then the roadworks came in further up and added about 10 minutes to my up journey and about 20 minutes to my return journey. Still fairly regular and consistent travel times though.
Then the regular accidents and breakdown's started in the roadworks south-bound it always seemed adding maybe 30 mins to journey and often then getting caught on M42 south heavier traffic compounding the delays.
Worst journey ever was leaving Liverpool area late morning on a Friday to get home as I was travelling to Heathrow to go on holiday that evening.
Was multiple accidents all the way down from way further up North to a 'pinch-point' on the M6 at Walsall where they had closed 2 lanes early-morning and they were still closed at 5.00pm or so. At that point was bumper to bumper crawl all the way down with every exit congested also. So I got off near Stafford and headed across to Telford down to Kidderminster and Redditch and approached home from the other way.....
Took me about eight hours to get home (reckon it would have taken at least another 1-2 hours if I had just stayed on M6) and then I had to go straight out to drive to London
Now whenever I hear traffic on radio it always seems to be J17-19 incidents. I shudder at hearing it glad I no longer do that 'commute'
