My new D4
Got my new Disco today. Overall very happy with it. Even got over 30mpg on the way home.
A couple of issues for the dealer to sort out.
1. The steering wheel is not straight
2. The steering wobbles slightly past 60 (supposedly sorted)
3. The white fire headphones for the RSE don't work. They come on but just flash red at me (Not connecting according to some vague instructions I found.
Just my new shirefabrication rock sliders to fit tomorrow.
Any way. Here's to hopefully years of fun.

I imagine. Who would go with that colour if all you have to go by is the name in a brochure

Just read the previous thread and it concerns a Bournville as well. Like buses! First Disco was a three door in Cairngorm, a sort of brown. Didn't see many of them either in those days.2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Re the headphones - quite likely to be the batteries ... (AAA size) Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!

Dave T I have changed them for brand new duracel. From the limited info about them online I could find, it seems the problem is else where. They both flash red which means they are not connected. For both as well with new batteries makes me think the transmitter maybe?

I've just found the quick start guide for the MY2012 RSE and it says
To activate the system, press RSE
on/off button (1), followed by the
applicable user system button (2 or
3) and then the required audio or
video function button.
But has no mention of flashing lights
