Hi mate. It covers the whole of the boot floor and the entire sides up to the top of the plastic mouldings. It also covers the full back of the seats. It does not cover the entire tailgate, but does cover the flap that bridges the gap between boot floor and tailgate. The hole (slit) is about 1cm long and is approximately 4cm from the floor on the side part. It has a dab of silicone on it and has never let anything through. Its hardly noticeable to be honest.
