Not sure what the Aldi chargers are like but if they're anything like the Lidl ones, seriously, do not bother, they are utter rubbish.  . Discussed here: https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic151384.html
I'm always up for a bargain but the lesson I've learnt from the discount stores like Aldi and Lidl is to avoid anything electrical at all costs as past experience tells me it won't last.
If you can't resist the temptation, keep the receipt, you're probably going to need it. Mods:

Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.

With all due respect, I didn't mention Ctek, other than I replaced my useless cheapo with one, nor did I compare the cheapo chargers to Ctek but as you mention it, there is completely no comparison. 
For £14, I would at least expect the charger to work, mine didn't and it's replacement only lasted a short time.
As I said, keep the receipt, you'll probably need it. Mods:
