[For Sale] 2013 Discovery 4 XS SDV6 **Reduced**
2013 Discovery 3.0 SDV6 7 seater with 73k miles, full leather interior, DVD SAT NAV and more.
I bought this vehicle with light front damage to the drivers side front after searching for months trying to find a Discovery 4 that I could convert to a facelift spec. I carried out the repair work myself with the aid of a local body shop carrying out the paintwork. Although not a trained panel beater or mechanic I am an Engineer and fix accident damaged vehicles as a hobby, usually around 2 or 3 per year.
There are two keys and a duplicate service booklet that I have managed to trace 3 previous services plus the one that I had carried out myself at a local LR speacialist 2 months ago, the only service I was unable to trace was the first service that should have been at around 15k. The vehicle drives superb and I personally think it has a very desirable look.
All parts that were used in the repair were genuine LR and include, Drivers wing, Drivers inner wing section, Air box, Vent hose, 2x MAP sensors, Front Panel, Bonnet, Facelift Grill, Bumper & Headlights as well as done minor pieces of trim and fixings. There was no damage to any of the Radiator pack or Front Chasis and I have pictures of the vehicle in its damaged state should anyone that's interested like to see. The car has the 360 degree camera pack but due to the front end being converted and the connectors being different the two front bumper cameras do not work, I have tried to look into this myself but have not succeeded, so it may need a professional to look at this. All equipment and cabling is there and in place but there will be some investigation work needed to connect the cables together correctly. This may be fixed in time for the sale but if not I am willing to negotiate on the price.
I have also installed the genuine facelift rear light clusters, Side Steps and 22" Range Rover SVR Alloy wheels with as new tyres.
Any viewing or inspection is more than welcome and I will PM my number to anyone genuinely interested on request that would like more information.
There are a few light car wash scratches that I will have polished out before the sale and also a small pin dent in the rear drivers side door that I will also look to have removed. Other than these points the car is superb and at a fraction of the cost of a facelift D4 on any forecourt.
I am looking for £18,995 o.n.o

The damage is recorded as Cat C, I presume this to be because of a dent in the end of the wheel arch that the insurance assessor would have cost for full replacement, as I have has Cat D damaged vehicles requiring more work than this LR did.

As it's a Cat C write off is the logbook stamped accordingly on the front page? I believe with Cat D write offs they don't do this. Any chance of putting a picture of the damage up on the club site?

Good luck with the sale, the fact its Cat C will hold it back combined with only fitting a section of inner wing, which would complicate any future insurance claim on that side will put people off, I suspect.
looks good on those wheels, how does it ride on them?

Please keep your negative comments to yourself when you are not clear on the facts that you are stating. Loss adjusters do not take any consideration to previous repair work. The insurance company paying out for any second claim, should there be one, would however offer a reduced price payout should the vehicle be total loss. This is why accident damaged vehicles sell for around 3/4 of the market value. I have been doing this for 10years so I know what figure this car will make.
Are you the joker that offered £15k on eBay?

Hardly an over reaction but each to their own. Just don't see the point in stated facts that arnt true unless it is purposefully to try and put potential buyers off

It looks tidy, and imo it's worth every penny, a cheap fresh Discovery for someone.
