Photo's missing from my threads (Photobucket)
Most of the photo's I've uploaded have been via Photobucket who have now decided to take the sharing feature away unless you pay hundreds a year
So any threads that I have done like "my split charge" or "meet Vinnie" will have all the photos missing.
I'm in the process of uploading the photos to my gallery on here and editing the threads but it's a long and boring process........I'll get there though!!

A right pain I know and its for just this sort of reason i discourage the use of linking to images on the forum i run, much prefer them to be uploaded.==================================

I host LR related stuff here too but for other pics, it's been Photbucket for at least 10 years, probably much longer.
I too noticed that warning banner starting to appear in place of pictures and there is no way on this earth I will be blackmailed by Photobucket into coughing up hundreds of pounds. The website has been riddled with adverts for far too long and makes using it almost impossible, so they can foxtrot oscar.
I am currently downloading all my pics and will go elsewhere, where I won't be blackmailed and I suspect customers will be leaving Photobucket in their droves because of this new policy.Mods:

He is saying. You can buy your own domain name and hosting package and host your own photos.
I pay £4.99 a month for web hosting with TSOhost.
You can get a .co.uk domain name for £7.99 a year through 123reg.
I'm sure other places do deals where you get the domain free when you buy hosting and things like that to make it even cheaper.
it's very noticeable that pictures are no longer visible in some posts ... I tried in vain to find out what SHMBO meant (as against SWMBO) and by looks of it explanation was a picture that's now just an "X" placeholder.

Just keep this thread updated, I've written a script which is reinstating as many PB hosted images as possible.
I can't do anything about PB photos which have been deleted, but it is recovering, re-hosting and re-linking the rest 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
