Disco 4 commercial - new owner
Hello Everyone,
Picked up 2016 SE commercial on Saturday. Am very happy with choice, honestly never driven such an all round capable vehicle. Engine and gearbox mapping is very slick, and feels always in right gear. Car has character and feels quality piece of kit.
Options include:
Rear view camera
Heated seats
Electric seats with armrests
High beam assist
Metallic paint - Indus silver
Rear spoiler
Sides bars
F&R mudflaps
Colour coded grille, fogs, mirror casings, side vents
22inch RRS style 508 wheels
Atlantechs rear seat conversion in near future
Feels great to be back in LR product after 5.5yrs in A8 (great car, was D4 model - pardon the pun), realised I missed elevated driving position of 4x4. Previously to that had RR P38 2.5 DHSE in 2001, and L322 4.2 s/c in 2009 plus various motors in between. Been LR products in family on and off since the 70's. I have missed been part of brand over last years.
Presently sorting new summer rubber for 22's and winters for 19 inch style 103 wheels included in sale. Thinking going Conti cross contact lx sport and Goodyear Ultra Grip SUV gen 1 respectively. Forum has been great help already reading about other owners experiences with rubber. Thank you for this. Also been reading about wiper upgrades and remote FBH control, interesting stuff.
Look forward to participating in forum.
Cheers
Martyn.

Welcome!
Looks great but how do you get on with 22" wheels? I find the 20" on my D4 gives quite a harsh ride over the bumps compared to the 19" on my D3.Stu

Cheers for welcome. I find the ride ok with 22's, will see how compares to 19inch in coming weeks when fit winter tyres. My test drive of car (on 22's) was first steer of D4, so
