Sat Nav - missing road

I've an 07 D3 with Premium Sat Nav bought in March.

During the Summer I drove along the M1 link around Leeds (opened at least 5 years ago) and the Sat Nav had me tracking across a field. I rang the stealer to ask if he'd sold me one with an out of date DVD and got the 'they all do that Sir' saying even the brand new Freelander had the same problem.

Yesterday I was talking to an owner of a 56 D3 and he insisted that his had the M1 link on it.

Who's telling the truth?

What is the latest version of the Sat Nav mapping and how can I check which version I have?

Eject the disk from the drive under the passenger seat and let us know what the 'YIW' number is on it

take the disc out of the dvd drive

if it does not have the number "YIW500260" it will be the older disc...

post on here what number is on the disc...it will be a YIW number

to be honest it's going to be the older disc as this new version was only released about 1 month ago...

It says:

LR Part YIW500200
Denso Part: 464210-5720

obviously not the latest version but surely it should have a 5 year old road on it??

yeah, that's at least 2 issues old now....

YIW500013
YIW500200
YIW500250
YIW500260

that's the issue's

until YIW500250 it was missing a few roads but now all cleared up and should have most if not all new roads
on the 260 disc

I think you are mistaking the M1 for the A1. Mine is on old disk 13, and it has the M1 link around Leeds. However, it does go across the fields on the new A1M

Nope. I live in the area and know the roads. If I travel M62 East past Leeds, TL up M1 then at split follow signs 'A1 North' along the link road (i.e. J43,J44 etc) I'm on fields according to Sat Nav.

If you mean "do you need two dvd's ..one for off road and one for on road "..then no .

Just the one disk has it all
