It’s certainly starting to get chilly down here. We are quite a lot further south than Queensland, but no sign of snow here (although the ski fields in Queenstown have been getting some). We haven’t even had a frost yet.
Still, the high today was around 8 degrees, so definitely not tropical!King of the typo.

Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!

Storm Larisa is set to bring “treacherous conditions” to the UK on Thursday night and Friday morning, with 50mph winds and up to 40cm of snow forecast in some areas.

First snow this season, very early to come in October. There's about 15 cms of it that's supposed to last a few days, before it'll rain away.
Had to drive The Grey Shark 5kms on summer shoes to go pick up my daily driver eGolf. Not the smartest thing to do, but kept it below 40 and everything was fine.
