FBH attempt no joy
Hi
Just had my timed climate activated by my local land rover specialist and now i have the additional button on the touch screen. Have set the timer several times and nothing happens! Fuel tank full, good battery and outside temp well down in single figures.
Been back to the garage and its the first one they have done so left it with them to double check and they have confirmed with additional sources as well as the people who provide their kit for amending the software that all is correct.
FBH runs when starting the engine when cold so guessing no issue there.
With ignition off and turning on radio so that screen activates the normally greyed out buttons for manual vents and manual heat are useable and when i hit the vents they come on but the heat button does not turn on the FBH.
Anyone able to offer any advice on what i may have missed or further tests?
I fitted the module and areal in boot myself and have a remote which also does nothing but im guessing with it not working from the screen the radio module would also have no functionality.
The garage knew the radio module was fitted and also enabled the blipper.
Cheers

Lights on remote doing what they are ment to do. Hold the on button down for 2 seconds and you get a green light for 2 seconds then a steady constant green blink letting you know its on. Except nothing I do will trigger the FBH to turn on.
As it was not configured from the factory is there a need to add any fuses to the fuse box? although I'm guessing if the timer option is on the screen that the answer is probably no.
Even if the timer option is on the screen it does mean that they have enabled all the options that need to be done, its a while since I did one but I think there are at least 3 or 4 options that need to be enabled to get it to work fully. Also on a couple I have done it needed to be done twice then it worked.

^ as above plus I know its obvious but after the set up I assume it not locked out with a simply code clearing needed. Easily missed.

Now that I don't know, could you give me a bit more info on what the indie would need to check?
Also can anyone recommend an indie that has actually done this before with proven results as it may be worth my trying someone else. With work I travel most of Devon and the Devon end of Cornwall?
Cheers

Any basic OBD11 code reader can clear the fault if its listed. Could be a simple solution not looked at.
